Polyadvance® PE-9301 is a special waterborne acrylic-carboxylic polymer containing multiple functional groups, which is especially recommended as the main resin for chromium-free passivation solution formulations in the field of metal surface treatment.

Application
This resin contains multi-functional groups to obtain excellent performance.
The phosphonate group is used to bond with metallic substates to improve adhesion and anti-corrosion properties; The carboxylic acid group can be combined with organic and inorganic substrates to improve the chemical resistance etc.
Some typical applications are as follows:
Ø The product formulated as chromium-free passivation solution applied on ZAM alloy, has good anti-corrosion properties and resistance to heat and humidity.
Ø The product formulated as chromium-free passivation solution applied on aluminum foil, can improve the performance of acid and corrosion resistance, and improve the impact strength during molding bending.
Ø The product formulated as anti-corrosion coating can improve adhesion, anti-corrosion properties and salt spray resistance.
Ø The product works well with pigments in aqueous metal substrate formulations.

Storage conditions and shelf life
This product should be stored in a closed container, anti-freeze protection, the temperature should be between 5-35 ℃, shelf life from production is about 12 months.
